Location: GlebeHouse, Bridgerule
Pack the car, check the equipment... drive down the road, pull over, and check it all again. Off we went, with music blaring and the sun shining, making our way to Devon for Stacey and Scott’s intimate wedding at Glebe House.
Every wedding we’ve had the pleasure of photographing has been an absolute joy, but this one might just take the prize for the most relaxed wedding ever.
The night before, we checked in with the bride and groom, as we were staying nearby, and made plans to meet up in the morning. Of course, morning came all too soon, as even photographers feel the pre-wedding jitters sometimes!

Arriving at the venue, sun cream on and cameras ready, we first met Stacey, who was getting her bridesmaids ready. Yes, you read that right—this bride is a talented makeup artist, and she made sure each of her bridesmaids looked picture-perfect before even thinking about starting on her own makeup.
In between moments of laughter, we captured Stacey as she finally found time to sit down, apply her makeup, and have her hair delicately curled to complement her stunning dress. A special shout-out to her sister, Chelsea, who kept us both in stitches the entire morning—laughing while trying to take photos is definitely a skill we mastered that day!

Next up was Scott, whom we found casually lounging in the pool, soaking up the sun and splashing around. After a quick shower, he was transformed—suited, booted, and looking sharp. We grabbed a few moments with him by some large barn doors, capturing the calm before the ceremony.
The couple exchanged vows in the beautiful Glebe House gardens, surrounded by vibrant flowers and next to a pond, where the koi seemed to raise their heads in celebration as Stacey and Scott sealed their union with a kiss.

Guests gathered in a tent set up on the grounds for the wedding breakfast and speeches. It was a true honour to witness such an intimate celebration, feeling every word and emotion shared during the heartfelt toasts to the happy couple.
As the evening set in, guests meandered through the garden, guided by fairy lights and drawn to the warmth of fire pits with inviting benches—perfect for sitting and chatting under the stars. We called for a few group shots just as the twinkling lights began to dance around the gardens, creating a magical atmosphere.
As the evening gently unfolded, we packed our bags, leaving Stacey, Scott, and their guests to bask in the warmth of their special night. Their wedding was a truly beautiful celebration, wrapped in love and joy, and it felt like a cherished moment we were lucky enough to share.
We wish you all the very best, Stacey and Scott. May your lives together be as warm and full of light as your perfect day.
